FREE PALESTINE is a fundraising zine featuring Pro-Palestine art by Japanese artist and activist Yasuko Toda. ALL proceeds will be donated to Olive Kids - an Australian registered foundation dedicated to improving the lives of Palestinian children, through financial support, education & medical assistance.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, “At least 40,005 Palestinians have been killed and more than 92,401 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since 7 October. An estimated 10,000 more Palestinians are missing, likely dead and buried under rubble as civil defence and ambulance crews have been unable to reach them. In a letter published in early July, medical journal, the Lancet, estimated that the actual death toll of Palestinians killed in Gaza could exceed 186,000. Health officials report that around 70% of the victims are children and women. Israeli forces have also killed 632 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since 7 October, including 147 children and nine women.” (Source: Middle East Eye, 15 August 2024).

Yasuko’s FREE PALESTINE zine is designed to be used as protest signs. Simply holding this zine in public is a display of solidarity with the Palestinian people. The message is painted on the cover in English, Japanese and Arabic - FREE PALESTINE! STOP GENOCIDE! Inside you will find 15 of Yasuko’s visually striking illustrations, which can be used as posters to raise awareness on the struggle, resilience and resistance of the Palestinian people.
