WITHOUT A FORM by Various Authors
A5, 80 pages, Colour printing, Saddle stitched, Softcover, Edition of 200, 2024
Without a Form / Without Forms is an anthology resulting from a 6-week poetry course of the same name, run by Lotte L.S. over summer 2024 at Great Yarmouth library, exploring poetry histories, techniques and movements — including the Black Arts Movement; militant writing from Brazil; L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poetry; Free Verse poetry in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine, the archives of contemporary poets such as Jay Bernard and Gail McConnell (currently housed at the University of East Anglia); and the Victorian poetry anthology The Golden Treasury, edited by F.T. Palgrave from Great Yarmouth.
The pamphlet includes a selection of materials from the course, that aims to capture the spirit of those 6 weeks: extracts of some of the poems read together — from the Golden Treasury, historical poetry movements, and UEA archives — annotated and scanned; and poems written by participants during the course, in response and conversation with these materials. Including an introduction by Lotte L.S., and a note. on F.T. Palgrave by Jeremy Noel-Tod.
