(W)HOLE: BOOK ONE by Pete Phipps & Sam Watkins
110 x 170mm, 84 pages, Colour printing, Perfect bound, Softcover, 2023
(W)hole is always mistaken and is complacent in that. It is a collection of stories, texts, sentences and full stops written, found and left. It is history. It is attempts to and by technology to strand meaning within individuals shot with nothings, madnesses and stupidity. It is full of oddities found in dark nooks and crannies. Imagined thingy-dos collected and collated as industrial wormholes squirm infecting language and symbols with psychic plague. It a slow dissolve from physical to mental, from outside to inside, from total to fragment. It is personal experience and stolen words. It is a goon-cave in an enchanted forest. It is the mark of a cow's hoof in the mud. It’s alright. It is lonesome.
