The Odds Against a Starry Cosmos explores the intimacy of human relationship and growth against the backdrop of the natural world, moving through moments of grace, brokenness, and wonder. Abby Bland (she/her) lives and writes in Kansas City, Missouri. She has a B.A. in English from William Jewell College and is the current Program Director for the Kansas City Poetry Slam and Poetic Underground Open Mic.
