STIR, FIELD NOTES FROM THE DISTANT VOICES PROJECT by Phil Crockett Thomas

A5, 32 pages, black and white printing with risograph printed cover, saddle stitched, edition of 100, 2020

Stir (2020) is a collection of poems and a short essay which were written while I was a researcher on the Distant Voices project (2017-2021). These poems reflect on my experience of doing sociological research in prisons, during collaborative songwriting workshops with the people who lived and worked there. All profits will go to the Glasgow-based arts charity Vox Liminis who partnered in the project. https://www.voxliminis.co.uk/. Cover design: Nathaniel Walpole. Typesetting: Ryan Vance. A pdf of this pamphlet is free to download at https://crowdedmouth.wordpress.com/fictionpoetryplays/stir/.
