Scratch brings together five years of griffiths’ photographs - everyday glimpses, from rain-speckled windows and chain-link fences to found objects and fleeting textures. Onto these prints, griffiths has spent hundreds of hours scratching row after row of tiny marks with a scalpel, cutting through the glossy surface to the paper beneath. This act transforms each image into both photograph and sculpture.
