Andrés Olveira (Montevideo, 1986) is a writer and librarian. He has published the poetry books French Railways (2016), What good is a house? (2020) and Double irrigation (2021). In narrative, he published The Unbearable Overweight of Being (2017). He received mentions in narrative and literary essay at the MEC National Literature Awards, as well as in poetry and drama at the IM Juan Carlos Onetti Award.
