“All along it was a known fact. A fact we always argued about. A fact about a man and a woman and millions of the same species walking. No tricks, no misunderstandings... Accommodation is meaningless at this stage. With the light fall of a snow flake and the smell of a break and the irritating sound of a water pump insisting on not pumping any water, I hear what you have to say.”

A thin book of words, perhaps some kind of a letter to oneself in order to remember. It may not be a calm read but it is a sincere one!
