“Mirror Images consists of 16 prose poems which are based on an identical amount of pencil drawings. The drawings are an interpretation of a painting entitled ‘Spiegelbilder’ from 1984 by Stephan Plenkers. The texts, which were written during the first Corona quarantaine in 2020, intend to depict a changing interior conveying a sense of alienation and disorientation. Each of the verses offer a different reading of the interior.”
