MILLWALL ON THE PAGE by Harry Lawson
A5, 52 pages, Colour printing, Saddle stitched, Softcover, Includes bookmark & poster, 2023
'And that's really where we start, down at The Den in South East London, on an unpleasant afternoon of driving rain and cold, wintry wind.' [front and back text, Millwall on the Page]
An accompaniment to Millwall on the Screen, Millwall on the Page features imagery and words from the film as well as loose ephemera relating to the project. The publication is a visual translation from the screen to the page; it's about fandom, community, belonging and the changing landscape of South Bermondsey in London. Seen through the prism of football, it speaks to Millwall's mythologised history and its uncertain future.
