"Layers Of The Heart" is an artist book based on themes of personal nostalgia. Artist and author Laurie Campbell found herself happiest as a child when doodling and creating new worlds. When the idea for 'Layers Of The Heart' first emerged, Laurie wanted to delve into the archives of her memories using collage and scrapbook techniques.

As humans, we are constantly adding memories to our bodies and peeling others off.
