This is the story of a chosen child who is left behind , When the constant is something hard and void of life, like a telephone, the child learns to live without them but  eventually the mother comes back, and even though she still believes they have an unbreakable connection, she has become alien to the child. She has a face that the child recognizes but cannot remember where they learned it, both of them changed, each grown new shell but one was left with a feeling of unfamiliarity

The narrative is based on the actual experiences of Georgian mothers who had to leave their homes in order to provide for their family and leaving their loved ones behind. Their sacrifice is not just theoretical; in Georgia, women comprise more than 57% of migrants, and 39% of children are exposed to the separation of migrant parents.
