FORTH and BACK By Various Artists
20 x 15cm, 97 pages, Full colour printing, Perfect bound, Softcover, 2012
"In autumn 2011 fifteen artists were invited to design a poster, post it somewhere and document the piece in its chosen location. The posters were anticipated as temporarily situated objects, announcements or simply as gestures put forward. Forth & Back comes from Richard Bevan's work Grouch, a folded 1970s Kodak advert, which has acted as a signpost or working description for the project. The name, like back-and-forth, suggests a dialogue or outing, only here the action of placing forth becomes the impetus for each work."
