Fool me once, Fool you twice is a series of analogue 35mm double exposures, creating an amalgam of two memories combined into one photograph becoming a way of exploring new community identity and personal experiences. Finding places that redefine and contribute to the feeling I call home. The photographs become a means of visual exploration, to make a seemingly fractured life into a whole: a story with a past, present and future. The idea that ‘Home’ is not a place, but rather a state of mind.
