Dermis is an independent press based in Glasgow, this is our first issue; focusing on the theme of ‘Place’. The aim of the publication is to celebrate and our community and elevate stories which are often neglected or obscured in the wider world of publishing but nonetheless vital in understanding our lived experiences. The idea of place functions as a stepping stone for exploring our complexities as inhabitants of a collective, yet intricately singular, point of existence.
