CROSS SEA HUM by Erica Wilk
101 x 152mm, 32 pages, Risograph printed, Staple bound, Softcover, Ed. of 75, 2nd Edition, 2020
A short photographic study observing the varying patterns in sand over time, and the effects created from external movements such as tides, wind, water, shells, rocks, plastic and feet. Related notes coincide with preliminary research and drawings on concepts connecting to waves, movement, points of collision, material matters and the oceanic hum. First conducted in 2017 over a four day period, and revisited again in 2019 over a week-long visit to San Agustinillo, Mexico.
