‘On the 8th May 2018 I broke my Ankle.
It was a bank holiday and we had gone to Rouken Glen to have a picnic we had a nice day it was very sunny and there were lots of people enjoying a day in the park. We had our lunch and a nice walk. We left the park to get the bus home and we were walking up the hill to the bus stop as a bus went past us when we reached the top of the hill the bus was still at the bus stop so I began to run for the bus (I used to work at Rouken Glen garden centre and sometimes had to wait for an hour to get the bus home) I had only made a few steps before I fell over and couldn’t get back up.
These are drawings I made during my time when my ankle was broken.’
