155 x 185mm, 32 pages, colour printing onto newsprint, edition of 500, 2020

Contributors Katrina Brown, Tom Jeffreys

This 32-page publication brings together the discussion series ‘A Place for the Work and the Human Being’ that took place in various locations across the city of Glasgow throughout 2019. The series considered and questioned the space for art today from the perspective of leading artists, curators and architects including Nicole Wermers, Elvira Dyangani Ose and Stephanie Macdonald. Designed by A Practice for Everyday Life, the publication features an essay reflecting on the talks by art writer Tom Jeffreys and an introduction by Katrina Brown, director of The Common Guild, along with information about each of the venues and a list of recommended reading suggested by the speakers.
