MuMufication, Toxteth Day of the Dead and The People’s Pyramid

The People's Pyramid is a multi-generational project to honour the dead and celebrate life. Each of the pyramid’s 34,592 ‘Bricks of Mu’ contains a small portion of a person's cremated remains. On Toxteth Day of the Dead, 23 November each year, new bricks are ceremonially laid until, in hundreds of years, it reaches its full height of 23 feet. The People's Pyramid is part of a new form of memorialization called MuMufication.
