Working Around the Kitchen is a comprehensive research publication that offers insights into the intersections of gender, labour, and technology based on the experiences of users working in domestic kitchen environments. The book is the culmination of extensive research conducted during my time as a student with 20 participants at the Royal College of Art in London in June 2024. It serves both as an educational tool for future focus groups and as archival material to support further research in these critical areas. The book is structured as follows: 1. Research Background & Methodologies: In-depth exploration of the research foundation and approaches. 2. Processes & Analysis: Detailed examination of the processes and findings. 3. Participant Statistics & Illustrations: Key data and selected illustrations that highlight the study's insights. 4. Roadmap for Future Studies: A forward-looking section outlining potential avenues for continued research.
