Pollen Missile is an artist publication developed from Minye
Yue’s visual research into the subtle rhythms and structures
of living matter.
Through close photographic observation, the book traces
movement at a small scale: the expansion of cells, the
scattering of pollen, the folding of leaves and the tension of
fibres. Botanical forms shift between organism, texture and
abstraction, revealing patterns of growth, repetition and
transformation.
Rather than presenting nature as a fixed image, Pollen Missile
focuses on moments of activity and change. The publication
reflects Yue’s wider practice of translating natural structures,
material behaviours and bodily rhythms into textile and
spatial forms.
