‘I Just Want to Stay Home’ is at the core of it, a study of light. Documenting intimate moments as they unfold in front of him, Robbie creates a personal diary. This slideshow juxtaposes the work with a project named ‘Heritage' (right), a project that re-contextualizes his family archival images in an inspection of adopted photographic conventions as well as the role of the photographer in the domestic environment and the subject of said photographs; inspecting the often subconscious performance of ones “identity” and our relationship to the camera.
