BRILLIANCE by Bethan Lloyd Worthington
125 x 176mm, 28 pages, Black & white printing, Saddle stitched, Softcover, 2024
Brilliance is a lyric essay that moves between suburban North East London and a cave excavation in the Mendip Hills AONB, Somerset. It follows light through a series of situations, and considers it as a form of boundary bleed, between the insides and outsides of our homes; between the brittle relations of neighbours with differing world views; between the human-made world and the ‘natural’; between time periods and between states of safety.
Produced as part of Bethan Lloyd Worthington's 2024-25 solo exhibition 'Boundary Trembling' at Corvi-Mora Gallery.
