Sore II gathers short stories by authors and visual artists circling around various themes, drawing their materials from buried memories, unearthed and unraveled in the forms of prose, poems, recordings, images. The ‘soreness' introduced in the first issue doesn't derive anymore from a disconnect between a body and mind moving in opposite directions but rather from the difficulty of forcing one's self to make this U-turn: to confront the forgotten familiar, to face the details of viscera buried under accumulated layers of time, skin, clothes and accessories.
