MANIA GRANDIOSA is a book that emerged from the world’s longest fashion show, held in the summer of 2023. It was a five-day endurance runway featuring ten models, stretching from Tallinn to the village of Pariisi in Lääne-Viru County. It is one of the first Estonian-language publications to critically examine fashion and the culture of achievement surrounding it. Through the perspectives of six different authors, the book explores various facets of contemporary fashion, seeking to understand fashion as a broader medium beyond the usual commercial framework.
