A LINE WHICH FORMS A VOLUME 9 by Various Artists
160 x 190mm, 168 pages, Colour printing, Coil bound, Risograph softcovers, Edition of 550, 2026
This publication is a critical reader of graphic design-led research written, edited, designed and published by participants of the MA Graphic Media Design course at London College of Communication.
The ninth issue of A Line Which Forms A Volume meditates on and through living-time. Research through graphic design becomes a practice of deconstructing utilitarian designs of time, unearthing non‑human temporalities and its layered textures. ALWFAV 9 explores objects, spaces and society at large as porous palimpsests – sites of interwoven narratives; unlearning the belief that time exists solely for us.
