“Poems of Hope is a collection based around mental health experience, divided into three sections: Struggle, Recovery, and Celebration of Life. It features original artwork and photography (artist Izzy Tinkler is currently Glasgow-based) alongside original poems by 15 contributors, all of whom are previously unpublished. The motivation for this project came from mine and Stephanie's shared passion for poetry and experiences with mental health, a massively topical theme in today's climate.The collection seeks to develop more empathy and understanding for the diverse elements of mental health experiences, as well as providing a cathartic outlet for its writers.”
