The collection of poetry is titled "Digging Up the Grave". It begins with digging up the grave where I had buried my past hurt and trauma from when I was younger. Thinking that it would resolve on its own, but as I am older I realized that I need to go through everything and really process it if I ever hope to move on and get better. The journey then continues on to the second part of the book where I begin to see the light, the positives in life again after processing through all the darkness. The third and final portion of the book is for my younger self. The words that I wish someone would have told me when I was in the thick of all my problems. The collection is my journey through the darkness, facing all the emotions that I had buried, and then finally laying them to rest for the final time. Never to haunt me again.
