The bookwork provides an account of the names of all military operations that the UK’s Special Forces have been deployed operationally since the end of the Second World War. There are currently 43 recorded active operations in the public record across the world in countries such as: Algeria, Estonia, France, Iran/Oman (Strait of Hormuz), Iraq, Kenya, Libya, Mali, the Mediterranean (Cyprus, Greece and Turkey), Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, and Yemen. An additional 4 operations are provided that are currently in progress, of which no official records exist. Put together from Freedom of Information Requests and historical accounts mainly the book also contains information on current active operations was obtained by listening to military net radio communications on unsecure channels. The publication offers both a list as well as asks questions about the proliferations of military operations in a landscape of war that is not always overt. The book contains an image disruption pattern and is produced in an edition of 100 units. The sales of all proceedings are going towards humanitarian aid in active warzones.
