A5, 48 pages, Colour printing, Saddle stitched, Softcover, 2023
Land is a book which explores the relationship between landscape and art, combining writing and illustration. Looking at key periods for landscape such as the Enclosure Act, the Second World War and now, climate change. The book aims to explore, re-draw and criticise both art and landscape. Thinking about how artists have been inspired by and influenced by the landscapes around them such as Eric Ravilious and his hazy watercolours of the South Downs and Barbara Hepworth's flowing wooden forms inspired by St Ives.
