Do you know that longing feeling of going back to a place you know so well, and it not being how you remember it at all?

Wiktoria Pilarska's recent project ‘Longing ~ Tęsknota’, explores the quiet disconnect between memory and reality, and the subtle way time reshapes places, until they no longer feel quite like home. The project illustrates a correspondence to Maria Konopnicka’s poem titled ‘Przy Oknie’, presented across an experimental folded A4 poster, postcard, stamps and an envelope secured with a hole-punched ribbon, all riso-printed in silver, brown & fluorescent pink.
