Everything I Made Whilst Counting Lambs’ is the publication element of the exhibition ‘I Intend to Count Lambs’, the degree show work by Georgia R Lawrence. Encompassing a year’s worth of essays, exhibitions and collaborative projects, the publication in its original form sits alongside 22 clay lamb sculptures, created throughout the year by the artist as a catalyst to creative thought. Using clay work to access a relaxed and intuitive state of mind, ‘I Intend to Count Lambs’ nods to the process of counting sheep to sleep - one process is the means to accessing the other. The creation of lambs catalyzed the contents of the publication, which documents a year of creative thought.
