ABSOLUTE HUMIDITY Edited by Tess Maunder

22 x 28cm, 239 pages, Black and white printed, Perfect bound, Hardcover, 2018

The publication is an anthology of over thirty artists from the Asia-Pacific region and brings together conversations and essays on the climates, environment, and weather from a varied selection of perspectives. Artists featured in the anthology include Bahar Behbahani, Zheng Bo, Hi Man Gurung, Sheelasha Rajbhandari, and Lantian Xie. According to Maunder's editor's note, the book 'proposes that a productive conversation about current environmental conditions/crises should resist universalist claims and instead focus on the specificities of artistic ideas and action. This way we can unpack the inconsistent conditions in which we live, both in their continuity and contingency.'
