"It is primarily a celebration of colour, and my enjoyment of it as an artist.  The book is a collection of photographs that i have taken over the last two years in various locations across the planet, several of them in Scotland.  When I take photographs I always look for striking colours and images that really capture my imagination, sometimes it can be an amazing sunset near Dunoon, a car on a freeway outside Washington DC, a Poster in Aberdeen or a flower behind a prison fence on a Greek island.

The book is a semibiographical reflection on the last couple of years in my life and is entitled 'Apollo' because I thought it made the best cover as its a cinema and I feel the contents of the book are at times a little cinematic.  I also took that photo on the morning of my wedding day in Wiesbaden Germany."
