An illustrated protest zine about a patient’s story of the difficulties faced in trying to get diagnosis and care for endometriosis. When the medical profession did not listen or offer support, they created this zine to give themselves and others a voice, and to find empathy and community outside of clinical settings. The zine asks why this disease that affects so many is so underfunded, and why care falls so short.
