Countless tourists have flocked to Scotland, hoping to glimpse the magic and the history that has become synonymous with this place. The history is evident in the ruins of castles, the stone circles, and cities with their patchwork of architectural times. But magic is an elusive thing, and can best be discovered in the stories and myths that originate here. It is these stories that have inspired this zine. We wanted to retell these tales while grounding them with real images of present-day Scotland: its rich history, natural beauty, and the changes brought by the modern world. 

This zine also grew from our shared adventures exploring Scotland. As creators within different mediums coming from different backgrounds (Ethan was born in Scotland while Claire moved here), we have inspired one another and encouraged our personal growth as artists. This collection is a celebration of our friendship, and we hope that it provides you a glimpse of Scotland through our eyes.
