TEXTURE MAGAZINE ISSUE 1
A4, 40 pages, single colour risograph printed throughout - black ink, saddle stitched.
Issue #1 of Texture Magazine presents a spectrum of writing adjacent to, and inspired by, audio of all kinds. Our approach is multidisciplinary and exploratory, looking to connect narratives and moments that might otherwise fall through the cracks.
We examine topics ranging from lost horizons to the heterotopian ideals of rave, the semantics of sexism to the marginalising effects of globalisation on narratives in music. Plus: Canada, 100 gecs, Original Pirate Material, and much much more.
