ROMANCING DYSTOPIA was born out of a large, white studio space in the Tuscan countryside, after spending two pandemic years working 12-hour days in my London bedroom office. What started as an involuntary stream of consciousness turned into a poetic form that glued my Italian experiences together: five poems, each one grappling with the contrast between beauty, gore, hope, heartache, stasis and change.
