RECTANGLE DAYS By Melanie Letore
29 x 36.5cm, Full colour printed on newsprint, Unbound, Ed. of 1000, 2015
In 2013, my brother and I lived in two seperate countries. At Christmas, in our mother's living room, we decided to each post a photograph a day on a communal blog in order to see each other's lives.
On New Year's Eve, I slept at Marion's, a close friend I have known since the age of four, because we both dislike festivities. I felt serene to share the transition into 2014 with her. Early on the morning of the 1st of January, we went up the Jura mountains and hiked in the snow. I took my first picture intended for Rectangle Days.
