HEAT, TROPICS, MAGIC, JUICE by Elizabeth Allen-Cannon
279 x 431mm - folded, 16 pages, black and white printing on newsprint, loosebound, 2021
"Heat, Tropics, Magic, Juice" is composed of four poems which oscillate in legibility while describing various female characters: a personification of a tree, the spirit of a 7,000 year old pond, and several autobiographical caricatures of the author/artist. These texts consider both ancient and modern aspects of the central Florida landscape. This 16-page artist book is 11 x 17 inches, printed on newsprint, in an edition of 1000.
