"Food is emotive. It has the power to celebrate, comfort and romance while teaching us about people, culture and the world around us. As I grow older, I have realised the importance of food in my life, and, on reflection, I notice how many of my memories revolve around eating. Through food, core memories are formed, and tastes and smells become evocative and nostalgic. I feel so connected to my loved ones through the food I associate with them and find their love immortalised within tokens fo recipes and cookbooks."
